This is the worst place I had ever stayed in Thailand, and blv me, I had traveled Thailand extensively. Well, firstly, I know what to expect when staying at a cheap place, and I am not the fussy type as I am a budget traveler...but in Thailand, even though u pay cheap and the room is basic, cleanliness wise, they are great. However, not at this GH. What they published in Sawadee.com is not the same as in reality. The linen was stained from other ppl s liquid. The wall was dirty and worst thing, there were animal shit (I assume rat s shit) in the toilet!!! What a horror!!! It seems as if it was ages since someone entered this room. As I am very tired and I had already taken in all my stuff into the room, I dont hv the energy to change into another room. So I close one eye and washed the shit myself. Besides that, The toilet had unnetting wind holes which enabled mosquitoes to enter the room so I was abusely bitten the whole night. The toilet also had pungent smell. The used water from the sink didnt flow straight to the hole into the drain, but on the floor, so it will wet yr feet. There is also a sparrow making a nest on the roof and it sings in the middle of the night too!!! I will never ever stay at this place again and I wont recommend this place to anyone. May be the more expensive beach front room is better, but not the one that I stayed. The landlady and her stuff were nice anyway...

Tapee Resort is a family affair. They welcome their guests with genuine warmth and interest and make sure the basic things are taken care of. Secure lockers are maintained in the family’s home so that valuable items like money, computers and jewelry is not lost. The grounds are constantly being maintained to enhance your enjoyment of the natural beauty of Thailand including a caged bird that sings beautifully. The equipment like the air conditioners is serviced promptly if they don t operate properly. The buildings are solid, well maintained and are kept clean. I stayed in unit 14 which was one of the units closest to the beach and enjoyed hearing the ocean as I fell asleep. The resort is within walking distance of many shops both big and small and a variety of important services like dentists, pharmacies and of course restaurants are close at hand. There is even a large used bookstore directly across the street that serves adult beverages in addition to having excellent rates on the loan of their reading materials. Rental vehicles are available close by but are not offered by the resort. If you want a quiet simple place that is well maintained as a family affair, visit Tapee Resort and you won’t be sorry you did. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

On your online application you have a space to advise the resort owners of your expected arrival date and time including the flight number. I expected that someone would be waiting for me at the airport since I included this information on my reservation. According to Tapee Resort management, they had no notification that I had requested that someone would meet me at the airport and so I was disappointed. If you create the expectation on your website that by requesting service someone will help you make a smooth transition from the airport and then no one is there to meet you first impressions of the resort will be negative and could create a very unfavorable impression. If the resort owner doesn t want to, or can t provide that service, don t collect that information. Otherwise your online processing was done at a very professional level and is appreciated.
